MBA Cohort Design
We are individually and collectively committed to the development of courageous leadership in ourselves and others. To facilitate this development, this is a cohort program. You will enter with a group of 15-20 peers with whom you will take all of your courses. Your cohort will be the inner circle of your MBA learning community and will both support you and challenge you as you develop personally and professionally into an effective business leader.
Cohorts begin each semester on both our Austin Campus Center and our Austin North Lamar University Center.

My hometown is Colorado Springs, CO.
As if my academics don’t keep me busy enough, I thought I would fill my spare time with some extracurricular activities at CTX, including Intramural Sports, Psychology Book Club, President’s Freshman cabinet (2005-06), and Student Center and Commuter Activities Coordinator (best job ever)!
The highlight of my time at CTX was definitely my first two years of living in the dorm. They were amazing! I was blessed with wonderful roommates, made lots of friends, and actually enjoyed every aspect of “dorm life!”
I think CTX is unique because the small size makes CTX very unique! I’ve been able to get to know all my classmates and professors and that’s really helped me succeed in college.
The professor that impacted me the most was Dr. Scarnier (psychology) because she has taught the most interesting psychology courses and really helped me plan for graduate school.

Hometown: I am a transplanted Austinite from the Northeast. I have been living the dream in the Music Capital of the Southwest and love all there is to do in and around Austin.
I enjoy going to work every morning because I love sharing our programs with potential students. I enjoy my role even more when students decide that CTX is the right fit for them.
If I won the lottery, the first things I would buy are the legal fees to incorporate my non-profit association so that I can begin to change the lives of women and their children in Austin.
I believe in the Accelerated Degree Program/Graduate Program because it is the best possible option for working adults. It allows adults to balance their personal/professional lives while reaching their goal of completing their undergrad degree. The ADP program complements your busy life rather than conflicting with it. No longer do adults have to choose between their families, work and school. They can do all three successfully.
In today's competitive market, many are pursuing degrees beyond their basic college education. Because our M.Ed. program offers evening classes one night a week, professional educators can prepare themselves to be the leaders of the future. Each specialization represents an organized, streamlined program of study designed to give our students a solid theoretical, research, and practical foundation in a variety of settings. Since we offer several specializations, our M.Ed. students graduate from the program with the leadership skills they need to ensure their success for years to come.
The mission of Concordia University Texas is to develop Christian leaders. I see this happening when students want to feel connected to their university. They can attend anywhere they want, but I want them to know that CTX is uniquely capable of answering the call for their educational goals. The world lacks trust in its leaders and faith in its institutions.
