Main Campus

The M.Ed. is also offered on the main Concordia campus, located in Austin's beautiful Hill Country. It’s easily accessible from Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, and North Austin.

Sharing the campus space with other Concordia programs, M.Ed. students have full use of all the campus facilities, including the library, computer labs, student center, and fitness rooms. The graduate program is designed around the cohort system. A cohort is a group of 12 to 22 students who begin and complete the two year M.Ed. program together by following the prescribed course sequence for their specialization. Each 8 week course meets one night per week, at the same time and location throughout the duration of the program, with the exception of the capstone course, which meets for 16 weeks, and the second summer session course, which meets for four weeks, two nights per week.

Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

My hometown is Houston, Texas.
As if my academics don’t keep me busy enough, I thought I would fill my spare time with some extracurricular activities at CTX, including Resident Assistant, Academic Coach for Science and Math, and aspiring parish organist.
The highlight of my time at CTX was definitely presenting the results of our Senior Biological Research Project at a Texas Academy of Science Meeting!
I think CTX is unique because the interpersonal relationships that students form with professors. The faculty and staff genuinely care about you as a person.
The professor that impacted me the most was Dr. Stevenson (chemistry) because he has encouraged me to take ownership of my education and perform at my best.
My advice to incoming students is to be prepared to "hit the ground running" on your first day here.
The experiences that I have had in my classes have pushed me to integrate my Christian beliefs into all aspects of my life. This integration has strengthened my faith throughout my experience at Concordia and developed me into a Christian Leader.
