Merit Scholarships
Concordia University Texas is pleased to offer 4 levels of merit-based institutional scholarships. These scholarships award academic merit, which means they are based on your GPA and test scores. There is no separate scholarship application to complete; Your application to the university is your application for merit scholarships! To find out if you've been awarded one of our scholarships, please contact your admissions counselor.
President’s Scholarship | Up to $15,300 - 4 Year Renewable
High School Students: 3.80 overall GPA, 27 ACT or 1800 SAT
Transfer Students: 3.80 overall college GPA
*must maintain a 3.75 GPA to renew this scholarship
Leadership Scholarship | Up to $13,000 - 4 Year Renewable
High School Students: 3.50 overall GPA, 25 ACT or 1700 SAT
Transfer Students: 3.50 overall college GPA
*must maintain a 3.50 GPA to renew this scholarship
Luther Scholarship | Up to $11,300 - 4 Year Renewable
High School Students: 3.25 overall GPA, 24 ACT or 1600 SAT
Transfer Students: 3.25 overall college GPA
*must maintain a 3.20 GPA to renew this scholarship
Walther Grant | Up to $7,800 - 4 Year Renewable
High School Students: 3.00 overall GPA, 22 ACT or 1500 SAT
Transfer Students: 3.00 overall college GPA
*must maintain a 2.75 GPA to renew this scholarship

Concordia University Texas strives to offer great educational value to its students. Private education can be affordable when we combine university merit scholarships, need-based grants, and outside resources to help offset cost.

Tuition & Fees per Semester: $12,940
Room & Board per Semester: $4,710
On-Campus Total per Semester: $17,650
Fall/Spring Part-Time (Less than 12 and over 18 credit hours/semester)
Tuition per Credit Hour: $850

My hometown is Colorado Springs, CO.
As if my academics don’t keep me busy enough, I thought I would fill my spare time with some extracurricular activities at CTX, including Intramural Sports, Psychology Book Club, President’s Freshman cabinet (2005-06), and Student Center and Commuter Activities Coordinator (best job ever)!
The highlight of my time at CTX was definitely my first two years of living in the dorm. They were amazing! I was blessed with wonderful roommates, made lots of friends, and actually enjoyed every aspect of “dorm life!”
I think CTX is unique because the small size makes CTX very unique! I’ve been able to get to know all my classmates and professors and that’s really helped me succeed in college.
The professor that impacted me the most was Dr. Scarnier (psychology) because she has taught the most interesting psychology courses and really helped me plan for graduate school.
