- Free laundry rooms, available in residence hall for student use.
- Mailboxes are assigned to resident students. They are located in H1, the student lounge area.
Recreational facilities in the gym and sports area include:
- Basketball

My hometown is Houston, Texas.
As if my academics don’t keep me busy enough, I thought I would fill my spare time with some extracurricular activities at CTX, including Resident Assistant, Academic Coach for Science and Math, and aspiring parish organist.
The highlight of my time at CTX was definitely presenting the results of our Senior Biological Research Project at a Texas Academy of Science Meeting!
I think CTX is unique because the interpersonal relationships that students form with professors. The faculty and staff genuinely care about you as a person.
The professor that impacted me the most was Dr. Stevenson (chemistry) because he has encouraged me to take ownership of my education and perform at my best.
My advice to incoming students is to be prepared to "hit the ground running" on your first day here.
