This two-day mandatory orientation for all incoming freshmen is designed to embark you on your college career.  Students, faculty, and staff will all be here to show you the wonderful opportunities CTX has to offer. Future students are provided overnight housing as well as all meals.

My hometown is Houston, Texas.
As if my academics don’t keep me busy enough, I thought I would fill my spare time with some extracurricular activities at CTX, including Resident Assistant, Academic Coach for Science and Math, and aspiring parish organist.
The highlight of my time at CTX was definitely presenting the results of our Senior Biological Research Project at a Texas Academy of Science Meeting!
I think CTX is unique because the interpersonal relationships that students form with professors. The faculty and staff genuinely care about you as a person.
The professor that impacted me the most was Dr. Stevenson (chemistry) because he has encouraged me to take ownership of my education and perform at my best.
My advice to incoming students is to be prepared to "hit the ground running" on your first day here.
The experiences that I have had in my classes have pushed me to integrate my Christian beliefs into all aspects of my life. This integration has strengthened my faith throughout my experience at Concordia and developed me into a Christian Leader.
